Audition Fees are $25 (non-refundable) for each student auditioning and are due via credit card prior to submitting your video audition.

How to submit your VIDEO AUDITION:
The audition fee must be paid online in advance of the audition submission.
When paying online, you will receive a receipt via email.
The audition video submission will be made via email:
a) Label the email Subject as "Instrument.StudentFull Name.School"
(i.e., Clarinet.Susan Smith.CentralHighSchool)
b) In the body of the email list the audition content including the scale names and titles of the two excerpts being performed on the video. See auditions tab online for specific information.
c) Attach a copy of your paid audition fee receipt to the submission email
d) Send your UnlistedYouTube audition video link to
Instructions for Uploading Video to YouTube:
After your video audition has been created, upload it to an “unlisted” YouTube file (see below). Be sure to give the file an appropriate title and description (see below). Please check your URL to ensure it is functioning properly before submitting your application.
Video Format: YouTube accepts any of the following video formats: .MOV, .MPEG4, MP4, .AVI, .WMV, .MPEGPS, .FLV, 3GPP, and WebM.
Upload: Follow these directions to upload your completed video to an unlisted YouTube file.
Go to and sign in. If you don’t already have an account, create one.
Click the “UPLOAD” button at the top.
Either click on the “Select files to upload” box and select your video file from the directory or drag/drop your video file into the box.
In the “Basic Info” screen, enter the appropriate title ("Instrument.Full Name.School") in the box where the filename appears.
In the box below the title, enter the name of your high school as the description.
Change the privacy setting from “Public” to “Unlisted.”
When the video is finished, copy the URL and paste it into your submission email
In order to access your video later to copy the URL:
Go to YouTube and sign in.
Click on your user icon (the blue silhouette box at the top right) and select “Creator
Studio.” Your videos will be listed.
Click “edit” by the appropriate video to see the “Video Information” on the right,
including the URL. You can also change the title or description.
